Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who loved music. When she was a kid, she listened to many classical music and traditional boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. Her mother taught her to sing. However, she started intensive singing lessons with Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera Tenor. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she saw her perform with many chamber ensembles and opera choruses and chamber groups in Guadalajara. In 2000 she moved to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she returned to her new home in Southern California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation in order to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
